Me llamo María, y mi tienda en Etsy es emeeme.

Estoy encantada de participar en este blog.

El mundo Etsy es impresionante. Está lleno de tiendas increibles y la mayoría de las veces no conocemos a las personas creativas, imaginativas y artistas que hay detras.

Este grupo, EsEtsy, está lleno de gente así.

A ver si con estas entrevistas, conseguimos conocerlas, y seguro que de paso aprendemos un montón cosas.

My name is Maria and my Etsy store is emeeme. I'm so glad I'm being part of this blog!

The Etsy world is impressive! It's full of amazing shops and most of the time we don´t get to know many of the creative, imaginative and artistic people there.This group, EsEtsy, is full of people like that.

I hope that with these interviews, we will be able to meet them, and

certainly we are going to learn a lot of things.

Empezamos con munieca, una tienda preciosa en la que llaman la atención las ilustraciones de Andrea, y la forma que tiene de convertirlas en accesorios maravillosos.
We start with munieca, a beautiful store where the illustrations made by Andrea, and the beautiful way she transforms them in wonderful accesories pop and catch your eyes!

1. Cuéntanos quien éres, donde vives, algo especial sobre tí...

Me llamo Andrea, aunque tambien me gusta que me llamen Munieca.

Vivo en Argentina con mis 2 hijos y mi marido.

Tengo casi 30 años.

Estudié Cine, fotografia, y soy maestra de primaria.

Ahora me dedico full time a mis tiendas online y cada tanto a pequeños trabajos freelance relacionados con la animación y el comic.

1. Tell us who you are, where do you live, something special about you ...

My name is Andrea, but I also like being called Munieca.

I live in Argentina with my 2 children and my husband.

I'm almost 30 years old.

I studied film and photography, and I am a certified elementary school teacher. Currently I'm working full time on my online shops and from time to time I work freelance for animation and comics.

2. ¿Cuándo y como empezaste a crear tus ilustraciones y tus objetos de papel?

Desde que soy pequeña me encanta dibujar y hacer trabajos manuales.

Después de entrar a la universidad empecé a buscar formas de expresión.

Ahora es el dibujo y el arte manual y aunque nunca tomé clases de dibujo o pintura, me gusta crear, probar y hacer mis muñequitas.

2. When and how did you start creating your illustrations and your paper objects?

Since I was a child I loved drawing and making things with my hands.

After entering college I began to seek different ways of expression.

Today my attention is focused on drawing and crafting. Although I never took formal art classes, I love to create, experiment and make my dolls.

3.¿Cómo es tu proceso creativo? ¿Qué es lo que te inspira?

El papel me vuelve loca! me gusta combinar el dibujo, el collage, las acuarelas y ultimanente el retoque digital en photoshop.

Las cosas que me inspiran y me gustan son: la animación, el animé, la cultura oriental, el cine (japonés y chino), la literatura inglesa del siglo XVIII, los juguetes y muñecas, y muchas muchas cosas.

3. What about your creative process? What inspires you?

The paper makes me crazy! I like to combine drawing, collage, watercolors and lately digital retouching in photoshop.

Things that I like and inspire me are: animation, anime, oriental culture, movies

(Japanese and Chinese), the eighteenth-century English literature, toys and dolls, and many many different things.

4. ¿Vendes tus creaciones en algún otro lugar aparte de Etsy?

Tengo tienda en Dawanda pero mi tienda principal es en Etsy. Es la que me abre la puerta para llegar a tiendas fisicas y online de paises del todo mundo, como en Francia, Taiwán, Australia, Inglaterra y USA.

4. Are you selling your creations somewhere else besides Etsy?

I sell on Dawanda but my main store is on Etsy. It is an open door to online and brick and mortar stores all over the world, like France, Taiwan, Australia, England and USA.

5. ¿Tienes alguna otra actividad?

Trabajo en un studio de diseño y broadcast, haciendo actividades relacionadas a la animación y comics.

5. Do you have any other activity?

I'm working in a design and broadcast studio, with projects related to animation and comics.

6. Háblanos de tus gustos.

Tus libros favoritos, qué música te gusta escuchar, ¿cuales son tus aficiones?

Me encanta leer, mis escritores favoritos son Bukowski, Jane Austen, Kawabata, Murakami, y soy tan chiquilina que ultimamente estoy leyendo novelas sobre vampiros :)

Mis gustos musicales, todo lo ochentoso me fascina!! tipo The Cure, Depeche Mode. tambien me gusta el pop frances bizarro como Lio, y los clasicos, Gainsbourg, Francoise Hardy. Mas actual me vuelve loca April March.

Tambien me encanta el cine y animacion, en especial el japones y chino: Survive style 5+, Totoro, Chungking Express, entre muchisimas mas.

6. Tell us about your tastes, your favorite books, what music do you listen to, what are your hobbies?

I love reading, my favorite writers are Bukowski, Jane Austen, Kawabata, Murakami, and I'm such a little girl that lately I'm reading novels about vampires:)

In music, everything 80’s fascinates me! bands like The Cure, Depeche Mode. I also like the bizarre french pop like Lio, and the classics: Gainsbourg, Francoise Hardy. More contemporary, I'm crazy about April March.

I also love film and animation, especially Japanese and Chinese: Survive Style 5 +, Totoro, Chungking Express, among countless others.
